Sheridan rewarded Gobin for his performance at the Battle of Pocotaligo in South Carolina by recommending him for the brevet rank of brigadier general. The 47th Pennsylvania served throughout the rest of the war, primarily in Florida, South Carolina and Virginia, and Gobin rose through the ranks to become the regiment's colonel and commander. After the unit's three-month term of service expired Gobin organized Company C of the 47th Pennsylvania Infantry, which he commanded as a captain. In 1861 Gobin enlisted for the American Civil War and was commissioned a first lieutenant in Company F of the 11th Pennsylvania Infantry. Gobin was admitted to the bar in 1858, and began to practice in Sunbury. Clement, with whom Gobin later served in the National Guard. He was educated locally and became an apprentice at the Sunbury American newspaper, where he was trained as a printer. The Red Rocks show in Colorado will be a little different, as the Colorado Symphony will join the singer. The new dates announced are scheduled between June and August, with stops in major venues across North America.

The tour will mainly take place in outdoor venues and will begin on Friday, June 17 in Detroit, MI, at the Pine Knob Music Theater and will tour more than 25 cities across the country before ending at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles, CA, on Tuesday, August 2. Special guests on the tour include the legendary Preservation Hall Jazz Band of New Orleans, violinist and singer Lucia Micarelli, and singer-songwriter Eleri Ward. This tour will be Josh’s first live performance of his latest album, Harmony, which will be released in November 2020 via Warner Records.
